Polknappen - Napakaivostyöläiset

Deep in the mysterious forests of Finland, there is a peaceful lake called Sisaruspohja with a cosy log cabin ('mökki' in Finnish) by its shore. If smoke comes out of the chimney, it means that someone is there. Now and then, the peaceful atmosphere might be interrupted by a swan's trumpet call, an elk splashing through the mirrored water - or shoutings of anthems of the best football team in the world. This is the headquarters of Polknappen, the Schalke 04 supporters of Finland.

On a cold winter morning, the landscape is beautifully blue and white... What better place could you find for the headquarters of Schalke fan club?

Club members are either residents or friends of Finland. At the moment our members come from Finland, Norway and Germany. We are proud to be the most northern Schalke fan club and "Nordkurve". We hope to be a gathering point for the Schalke fans of the North and their friends in Germany. Together we can share thoughts and cheer on Schalke on their way to becoming the German champions and then onward to winning the Champion's League.
